This is a really cool game! I’m reminded of discussions I’ve seen about magic systems in novels, where there’s a seeming dichotomy between rigorous magic systems and softer magic that instills  a sense of mystery and wonder. Your game manages to do both with its mechanics, somehow, which is really fascinating.
